TRI at MCity

APRIL Lab is one beneficiary of Toyota Research Institute’s recently announced $22 million commitment to support UM research in artificial intelligence, robotics, and autonomous driving. Through this initial four-year investment, TRI will partner with APRIL and other UM research groups to develop new intelligent technologies aimed at improving quality of life. This initiative will include research in improving driving safety, developing autonomous vehicles, and increasing mobility of the elderly through assistive technology.
